The 108th District is comprised of portions of NORTHUMBERLAND County consisting of the CITY of Sunbury and the TOWNSHIPS of Delaware, East Chillisquaque, Jackson, Lewis, Little Mahanoy, Lower Augusta, Lower Mahanoy, Point, Rockefeller, Rush, Turbot, Upper Augusta and West Chillisquaque and the BOROUGHS of Herndon, McEwensville, Milton, Northumberland, Riverside, Snydertown, Turbotville, and Watsontown; and Part of SNYDER County consisting of the TOWNSHIPS of Chapman, Monroe, Union and Washington and the BOROUGHS of Freeburg and Shamokin Dam.

Culver Votes for Budget with No New or Increased Taxes

HARRISBURG – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) today in Harrisburg voted for Senate Bill 255, the General Appropriations portion of the state budget, which was approved by the House of Representatives. The 2021-22 Pennsylvania budget would spend $39 billion in General Fund dollars, and $1 billion in federal relief funds, to fund the core functions of government services, prioritize education and support Pennsylvania’s most vulnerable citizens, all while avoiding any new or increased taxes.

Culver Seeks to Protect Seniors, Care-Dependent Persons with Financial Exploitation Bill

HARRISBURG – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) today announced that the House of Representatives has passed her House Bill 1429, which would amend Title 18 to criminalize “financial exploitation” of an older adult/care-dependent person by a person in a position of trust. This measure also grants the attorney general’s office concurrent jurisdiction to investigate and prosecute alongside the district attorney’s if the crime is over $20,000.

Culver Undergoes Successful Kidney Transplant Surgery
